One of China's ten famous teas, Huang Shan Mao Feng was gathered in early spring 2010 from Anhui Province's Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain), a region legendary for its green teas.

Huangshan Mao Feng Tea's English translation is "Yellow Mountain Fur Peak" due to the small white hairs which cover the leaves and the shape of the processed leaves which resemble the peak of a mountain.

Each emerald-green bud and single leaf combination - often called Qichiang or "flagged spear" - is picked just hours after its tender leaves have unfolded. They are then withered, pan-fired and dry roasted to preserve the natural floral aromatics and verdant quality of the tender leaves.

The floral aroma of the leaves brew a clear and tender green liquor that is lightly sweet, with a mild nuttiness and a clean finish.

Suitable to be enjoyed all day long.

Water Temperature: 175°, or when very small bubbles appear on the water's edge.

Brewing Instructions: Use 1 tablespoon (double for a medium sized pot). Rinse tea for 1 second. Discard rinse water. Steep for 1 - 2 minutes. May be infused multiple times.
